Our family, friends, community, and complete strangers have been so gracious to give us constant words of encouragement. Whether the encouragement has come in the form of bible verses, quotes, or quick-witted statements, we want you to know that we appreciate and value them all equally. If you can bring a tear to our eye, a blush to our hearts, and a laugh to our gut, we are thankful. Eternally and humbly thankful.

Prayers –

“Holy God, I ask that your supernatural strength and comfort fall right now on Amanda and in the hospital room. I pray that you fold precious Mac up under the power and shelter of Your outstretched wings. Protect that little body and let no harm befall him. Prepare the surgeons, doctors and nurses to work perfectly with Your wisdom and precision. Please give them clarity and resolution quickly. Please prepare the way before Mac, guard him and wrap him in Your arms so that his only memory of today is spending the morning in sweet dreams with his Abba. Holy Spirit fall on Amanda and give her your endurance and strength to get through today. Help her take it a day at a time. God, we don’t understand the why but we trust Your love for Mac and your best for his life. Lord, we love you even when it hurts. Please have mercy on this family. In the healing and powerful name of our Savior King Jesus, Amen” ~Alison

I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint. You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak. I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; I remembered my songs in the night. My heart meditated and my spirit asked: “Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?” Then I thought, “To this I will appeal:
the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God?
